5 Glides through the strings without chirping
Posted by Rich Johnson on 3rd Jan 2024
By the headline you know I have tried Jim's prime. Sure, they work but boy do they chirp. This pick does not chirp at all and is actually a tad bit brighter sounding than Jim's prime, which is exactly what I was hoping for when I bought this. I decided to go with the 40 because I was hoping for a bright tone. This pick will definitely last, after 5+ hours of jamming with it not a single scuff or scratch. So glad I finally decided to give a try, totally worth it!

5 Great for guitarists who hate picks
Posted by Christopher Herbert Ward on 26th Dec 2023
I played a guitar for 56 years without a pick and then a teacher told me I should use a pick to improve my playing. I despaired until I found Blue Chip, thanks for making me a better player

3 I paid Way more than I should have should’ve gotten 3 to 4

I really know them to be worth the money. I would feel a lot better if I had gotten at least three pics the way it stands if I lose that one. I’m shot down.

A joy to use, I play traditional Celtic, Gypsy, Bluegrass and Old Time etc, in our band on Bouzoulki, Banjo, Mandolin and Guitar and this pick is just great for all of them, love it. Life will never be the same again. Thanks Blue Chip.

5 Best pick I have ever tried.
Posted by Garry on 18th Oct 2023
What can I say that hasn't already been said? These are the BEST picks out there. My friends have criticized me for paying this much for a pick. But I keep telling them, the pick IS your connection to the instrument. No slip, literally sticks on your fingers and the bevels are smooth as silk. I definitely play better with these. It's worth the money. Also, your exchange policy is very generous.

3 Expensive average pick
Posted by Richard on 7th Oct 2023
So why only 2 stars? If it were a $2 pick I would rate it at 3 as it is, to my ears, an average pick. But the rating drops as it is just an average pick at a very exorbitant price. I can see $5…but $35? No way! These are for those who want to say “look at my $35 pick” I have compared it to other picks of the same thickness and can hear zero difference. To my ears I find the heavier the pick, the darker the guitar sounds. Simple. Why did I risk such a costly pick? At these prices I just had to experience it for myself. Guilty of drinking a bit of that Kool-Aid but I had a feeling there was poison in the glass. I had to see what makes a $2 pick cost this much. Now I know. P.S. Ok, I went back and changed it to 3 stars as I feel bad writing this. But I have to give my honest opinion.
