The Jazz pick is very similar in size and shape to the Dunlop Jazz 3 pick. This is a Jazz in a 60/1000 of an inch(1.5mm) thickness. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched. This pick has a universal rounded bevel.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I used to play Jazz III, and I went here to buy a nicer version. I accidentally got the large, which I really love, and went back to get the smaller version. I like the bigger version now. All picks are fantastic, but don't fear the large version!
Amazing how you sound much more like a jazz guitar with this pick. Highly recommend.

I admit the advertisement in downbeat magazine with Julian Lage sparked my interest in BlueChip...I’m primarily a jazz guitarist in the Quartet I’m a part of-although we play some traditional blues-old school funk and a touch of R&B. I’m picky about picks-so I had to check these out...I’ve probably tried 10 different types In the Jazz category...at the time I had settled for Jimmy Dunlop primetones 1.4...I was happy but not entirely satisfied-and for 35 dollars I thought these things better work!! They are incredible!! Here are the main features I find that set this pick apart:
-Such a great pick that I have forced myself to put it back into the wooden Case after practicing or playing. I had a nervous breakdown when it almost made it into the washing machine...no more picks in the dryer and all over the floorboard of the car...my wife griped about the price but I’m hanging on to these gems like they were diamonds!
-Material is incredibly tacky, keeping your finger and thumb in place. Most picks need raised “grainy” material or thumb indentation to help keep the pick anchored. This material is amazing-stays put and doesn’t wear off.
-Pick is resilient, like no other pick I have used before. I have literally used a rotation of three picks for the past three months and have noticed NO scuffs NO abrasions NO damage to the tip of the picks.
-It seems to give me more control and more responsiveness compared to other picks-from subtle notes to punchy lines.
-The model Julian Lage most recently endorsed is one of the three picks I have-I have two Jazz 60s and an MV50...it is also a tremendous Pick...it has simplified my “bag of picks” down to just three
-When you have an exceptional quality product like this-it really streamlines things...I bought the sliding wooden case...now I just put it in my equipment bag and head to the gig...
Now this is my opinion...they are the finest picks I have ever played In My 17 years of playing and 10 years of playing semi pro-and now professional gigs...Some may disagree- but I trust these three picks will perform and last a long time! Thank you BlueChip

Folks said these were the best picks, with "best" being quite a subjective word. I tucked all my other picks into bags to put on the back shelf, sans a 3mm V-pick, which is still the "fastest" pick I have for my 12-strings, though the pick/string noise can be substantial, limiting its use to a few percussive-style songs. This BlueChip pick has it all...speed, full tone, ease in grip, and no string noise. Don't waste your money buying cheap picks.

For me, the Jazz 60 is indispensable. It's a piece of gear that does something very special and rare: it actually makes playing my Gibson L5S more FUN. The only other picks that come close (for me) are some other BlueChips I have. It's inspiring that I can enjoy some very different shapes, such as the CT55, almost as much as the Jazz 60. But this is the one I always come back to.

I have been playing guitar for about 19 years, and have tried a few different plectrums. I must admit I was very skeptical at first, but the sound grip and release off the strings are amazing.

I am a jazz guitarist in the Washington DC/Baltimore Area. I was recently told about BlueChip picks and after checking out your website, decided to try the Jazz 60. I've bought it with great skepticism. However, when it arrived and I tried it out, I was floored. I have always had trouble with flatpicks slip sliding in my fingers. This is the first pick I have EVER found that eliminates that problem completely. The clarity and tone from this pick is unparalleled as well. Again, absolutely floored by its performance. These picks are worth every single penny. Bravo BlueChip!

I was very hesitant about buying this pick. My thought process was probably a lot like yours… “$40 bucks for a guitar pick… are you crazy”??!! After a couple of months or research and reading all the reviews (and the money back guarantee) I decided to pull to trigger and get one. Upon taken the pick right out the bag and holding it I could feel the nice material (whatever it is) had some weight and it felt really good in my hand. The sound is very warm and unlike any other pick I have used, and I have used a LOT of various picks. The attack is spot on and it almost seems that the Blue Chip pick has a mind of it’s on. What I mean by that is the notes you are going for not only make perfect contact but make you reach and execute other notes in your playing that maybe you are not even thinking of at the time. In other words, this pick seems to make me a better player, or at least make me go for notes not worrying about if I can pull it off because the pick knows what I want and what I’m trying to achieve. And as a guitar player… that is EVERYTHING! With that said, this pick is worth every penny, if not more in my opinion. Now the only trick left is NOT to lose it!

Tried this on a whim and fell in love. Great for bluegrass fiddle tunes on my acoustic or rock/jazz on my electrics: great tone, stays steadfast between my thumb and index finger, the real deal. Easy to palm for fingerpicking, too. Now I'm trying their other models to zero in on a pick I like the best, expensive but worth the cost.I often don't review musical products, but, I was taken with this pick. I thought it seemed expensive at first, but, after using it for a while, I eventually came to the conclusion that I was glad I pulled the trigger. Highest recommendation!.

I've used Blue Chip picks in the past and I've always been impressed with their grip, feel and starting release. The Jazz III shape of this pick just makes everything that much better as the J3 pick shape is much more precise and affords much better control
