Product Overview
The CT55 is a pick custom designed by Chris Thile for his personal use. It is very similar in size and shape to our TAD line of picks. However it is only manufactured in 55/1000 of an inch(1.4mm) thickness and has a custom bevel per his specifications. This is the exact pick that Chris Thile is currently using. 5 I'm a beginner and this pick is awesome!

I received this pick as a father's day present. I have been playing for about 3 to 4 months. I really feel that the pick is part of process. The CT55 gives me a smooth sound on the strings, and I don't seem to get that 'pick noise'. It also seems smoother playing faster (not that I am a speed demon yet, lol). I would recommend this pick 100%

I am using this on my A model Mandolin. It lived up to the other glowing reviews. It seems to have have more clarity and power to drive the strings. Fairy bright sounding but easy to control dynamic range. I had been trying most of the popular picks and this one is my favorite. I had a hard time pulling the trigger on a $35 dollar pick, but glad I did!

I’ve tried a lot of picks in my day but by golly, g dang it this is by far the best! This is my third BlueChip pick style to try and I will now be recommending this to everyone I pick with! Thanks Again BlueChip!

I’ve played guitar in a bluegrass band for 17 years, and have used a TD50 for the last 10 years. I started playing mandolin about a year ago, and eventually decided to try the CT55. I found that it is not only a great mandolin pick, but also a great guitar pick. Love the tone and response on the strings. If you’re a serious player, it is worth the money.
