Loading... Please wait...The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 48/1000 of an inch thickness(1.22mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

This is the one! Perfect from the start, no wear after two months of intensive amounts of playing, and no pick noise. Great for everything I've tried it for. Super pick!

The TP48 is a great addition to my two other Blue Chip picks, the TPR45 and the custom TP45. The TPR45 gives a softer, mellower tone while the TP48 and TP45 give a slightly brighter tone. I change picks depending on the tune/song and the conditions under which I'm picking.

Last month I was attending an Acoustic Guitar Class in Italy taught by the absolutely great guitar player and teacher (and human beeing...) Chris Eldridge so he was using this Blue Chip TP-48 that I never saw before and he let me try his pick. I found it was just astonishing so I immediately got a couple for myself improving my flatpicking a lot and getting an awesome sound out from my beloved 018 Martin dated 1951

The sound is more authoritative than my cheaper picks. It feels good and is fast on my nylon string classical guitar.

I was skeptical at first, but this buy far the best pick that I have ever used. Worth every penny.

I've collected picks for almost 30 years and have a collection in the thousands. I reached a point in my playing where I was comfortable with one style of pick and used this particular pick extensively for years. After a recommendation from a Blue Chip artist who I've known since high school I tried a TP-48. All I can say is I'm blown away by the tone and craftsmanship of these! There is a difference. A huge audible difference and the way these are beveled will help you in your playing no doubt about it. Still can't believe how great these are. I'm buying one of each. Thanks Blue Chip!

I have both the TP48 and TP50 picks. I switch constantly between both as they each have their individual tones. I prefer these over the two Wegen picks I was using. I have stopped searching and have indeed found the ultimate picks for my Bluegrass journey. The fact that Julian Lage and Bryan Sutton, two of my favorite players, use the same picks makes me feel like I have headed down the correct path for my plectrum needs. I heartily recommend both of these picks. And I'm sure that the other Blue Chip picks are equally beneficial!! Thank you!!!
