Product Description
The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 48/1000 of an inch thickness(1.22mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

The Perfect Picks

Absolutely love the picks. Very minimal sound against the strings. Night and day difference to traditional plastic picks as far as drag/resistance against the strings. Haven’t tried any other brand of high-end picks and don’t feel the need to. Well done BC

One of my favorites for flatpicking guitar!
I even use this for playing single string lines on a banjo. It works!

I have been using Blue Chip picks exclusively for mandolin, guitar, and banjo for several years. I love the feel and tone quality compared to other brands. I have an issue with the most recent pick I ordered in that I ordered I and paid for engraving and it came unengraved.

I fell in love with the TP48! I originally tries out a TD40/TD45/TD50 and although I did like the tone and feel of the TD45, I just wanted to try the TP48 (maybe because Billy Strings and Brian Sutton use/have used them) so I contacted BlueChip. They said I could gladly return them so I purchased the TP48. There it was..I fell in love with the feel and tone of that pick. I eventually purchased two more with different engraving. They each sound a little bit different which I like because when I get new strings, I can adjust a bit of the tone by using the one that is not quite as bright, and visa-versa for when the strings get old and sound a bit dead. Bottom line....it took a bit of debating about getting a $35 pick, but it is absolutely worth the investment, plus you are helping to support a very customer friendly small business.

I don't know what it is about these picks that makes them so fast and sound so good; I'm just glad they exist!! I was more than a little skeptical but thought I would buy one. Played with it for a while and then ordered 3 more as backups! If you're skeptical, it's worth picking up one and giving it a try. You won't go back to any other pick.

The TP48 is my new favorite pick.
I've used Bluechip picks for years. Folks, you can't wear these things out.
Years of playing almost daily and no sign of wear other than rubbing off most of the Bluechip label print.
Where they found this material, I don't know, but I can tell you it's some tough stuff.
Recently I took a chance on a TP48 and I'm so glad I did! It's THE pick I've been waiting for.
To me, it's the perfect shape and thickness. I really like that it's just a bit smaller over all than it's big brothers 50 and 60.
I would encourage anyone who needs a point on their pick and likes the triangled shaped ones (Like getting 3 picks for the price of 1) to give the TP48 a test drive.
I use mine mostly to play mandolin, but it's just as satisfying playing guitar.

Hands-down the best pick I've found to date. Gives the loudest, most clear tone from my mandolin than any other pick I have used. No noticeable noise from the pick sliding past the strings. Will definately keep using this pick and recommending it to fellow musicians.

I have been using a shell pick for years and decided to give the Blue chip 48 on advice from my teacher and I love it.
