The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 48/1000 of an inch thickness(1.22mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I love this pick, It's sturdy and yet it causes me to just concentrate on playing. If I can forget about the pick when I play, things are going well. If I'm worried about it, I might drop it, it's slipping etc, I'm finished and the intent of whatever I'm doing is lost because all I'm doing is thinking about picks! Can't say enough good things. It's the most perfect pick for flat picking I've ever owned.

Originally bought a TD45 based on experience using a friends which I loved. For some reason, I didn’t like the one I bought as much as the one I had previously borrowed. I sent it back, and requested the opportunity to try the TP48 instead. Blue Chip was awesome, I had the new TP48 in less than a week and love it. Would recommend to anyone. The pick is sturdy, easy to hold and creates a clean pure sound on the guitar.

I'm just a bluegrass newbie, but I purchased a big handful of other picks before biting the bullet and getting a blue chip. Guess I had to blow through a lot of lesser picks before realizing this is the one. I like the bevel which seems to make the pick quicker... and me a little more aware when I am attacking the string wrong. This is such a great pick, I immediately bought a back-up!

I hava use a TD60 (the same) for more than 7 years. Just wanted to see how this thinner TP48 one would sounds. Well it has all the goods of my previous while bringing my sound just a little brighter. Unless you’re a pro I believe these picks last a life time!

The TP48 Blue Chip pick is a fine pick. I used a jazz III for a long time on electric and accoustic. Now that I’m playing more accoustic, this pick is easy to hold and sounds great across the strings. ?

it is the only BlueChip pick I have ordered. I really enjoy using it. I'm afraid to use on the deck (fall through the decking) or outside (i may put it down and be unable to find it). Damn $35 lost and would be able to afford another. New strings x3 vs guitar pick? So far it is the best pick ever! I like the size and beveled edges, damn makes my HD28V sing!

I've used these picks for a long time.
Always the TD40. I had a chance to use TP48 at a show recently. I like the touch more rigidity it offers.
Also this pick is used by some of the most accomplished flatpickers in the world. I play bluegrass alot so this shape and thickness is perfect for that over a tear drop style.
Still like the TD40 for strumming the TP48 is great for fast picking

Consistently the best pick I’ve ever used. The tone produced by this pick is so much better than anything on the market. Pricey? yea. Worth the price? Hell yea

If you want to produce great tone out of your instrument these Blue Chip Picks are the best.....
If your looking for ok, bad, crappy, or just pedestrian tone out of your instrument, well..... make sure you don't get a Blue Chip pick.
