  1. total game changer 5 Star Review

Posted by on 3rd Feb 2023

When i first bought this pick i figured no way it could live up to the price tag. My lord how wrong i was. The pick instantly improved my speed and accuracy and most importantly made me feel closer to the guitar. It feels weightless yet grippy and you don’t even notice it’s in your hand. These aspects have drastically increased my level of musical inspiration which is honestly priceless. I cannot say enough about bluechip picks, they will do more for your technique and tone than just about any other piece of gear.

    Great pick. Fast.

  3. Amazing fast pick 5 Star Review

Posted by on 26th Nov 2021

I love my TD80. Such a fast pick, the pick glides so smoothly through the strings and the sound is balanced. I loved it so much that I ordered 2 more!

    Effortless to play this pick!

  4. Completely Satisfied 5 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Nov 2021

They have a comfort because there is minimal 'squeeze' required for them to stay nicely placed where are you hold them. They do not make a 'plasticky' sound when you pluck a string. I love them. Expensive but easily worth it. They are new for me but I understand that the longevity is outstanding. Unfortunately, they have ruined my interest in trying alternatives (as they are expensive). I understand why - the materials and labour involved. My headline - completely satisfied - says everything. Thank you.

  5. This is the best pick I've ever used 5 Star Review

Posted by on 26th Apr 2021

I think some musicians are quick to dismiss premium products, like Blue Chip Picks, because of their price point. Aside from the fact that their trolling comments are incredibly annoying, they also happen to be way off the mark. All my BC picks are incredible, and I'd be happy to use each of them for the rest of my life if I could only choose one. But the most recent one I purchased (TD 80 w/ speed edge) is without exception the most amazing pick. Nothing comes close. The feel and attack with this pick is so exceptional that I would happily pay to replace it if I lose it. Heck, I'd buy it again even if it wore down in a month. It's that good.

I really, really, cannot recommend this pick enough!

  6. Deep and dark . . 5 Star Review

A bit of a suprise with how much darker and warmer sounding this pick is then my TD60. Super pick, rich and dark sounding, with lots of overtones.

  7. Surprised its this good 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Aug 2020

The pick doesn't feel tacky yet it sticks well to my fingers. I find I don't need to use as much force holding the pick. My hand is more relaxed and it improves my focus. More of my brain is now on the fretting hand. I don't know what kind of alien substance this is but it works really well. I will be getting another.

  8. Great Valentine's Day Present! 4 Star Review

Posted by on 23rd Mar 2020

My girlfriend surprised me with one of these picks for Valentine's day. It's great. All of the other heavier gauge picks I've tried (I like around 2 mm) have a somewhat dull sound that tends to mute the high end. This one fixes that. It's nice and thick, but somehow maintains a lot of the delicate treble response of a lighter pick without losing the full bass and volume you get with a thicker pick.

    Perfect product.

  9. Finding an alternative is not really an option anymore... 5 Star Review

Posted by on 29th Oct 2019

After all those $$$ spent on variety of guitar picks, I may have just found the one. The tone is deep, articulate, and packs so much clarity; the quality is superior to any material that I've tried. After weeks of intense practicing & playing sessions, I have yet to notice any wear on my TD80. The tone is equally good as it was on the first day, unbelievable!

On top of that, the quality of service from Allen & Co. has far surpassed my expectations. They have over-delivered in my case, and have earned my brand loyalty. Thank you to the BC Team!

    Congratulations!

  10. Best pick so far 5 Star Review

Posted by on 19th Aug 2019

I already own a jazz 100 and I find that one glides a bit easier over the strings but it is much harder to control since it's small dimensions. However, they both produce different tones and in my personal opinion, this is one of, if not the most versatile pick you can get for both strumming and picking.
