  1. Good Clarity Good Tone Excellent workmanship 4 Star Review

Posted by on 3rd Jan 2017

I've been using TAD60 and TAD50. I wanted something with more flexibility. The TD45 has more flexibility and good clarity that I've become accustom too in Blue Chip picks. As always the picks are precisely engineered and never show any wear under the heavy abuse of flatpicking guitar style. Find your favorite shape and thickness and you're set for life.

  2. Best Picks 5 Star Review

I own two(2) Blue Chip flat picks: the TD-40 and the recent purchase of the TD-45 pick. I LOVE these picks! They are perfect for my playing needs and style!
I have used many different flat picks in various thicknesses during my 48 years of playing guitar and the Blue Chip picks are the best picks that I have had the pleasure of owning and using!
I've had friends compare these to their own picks and there is an immediate noticeable difference in TONE and FEEL!
    Bravo, Blue Chip!

  3. I have found the ONE 5 Star Review

First of all, I own several BC picks and each is awesome in its own way. TD 45 however has to be (imo) the best all around pick for my musical preferences. (Bluegrass, Country, Rock, Jazz)

  5. The best Pick I have used period 5 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Feb 2016

I have been looking to change from my usual guitar pick to another material, style and have been reading some reviews. I found Blue Chip mentioned to be the closest thing to Tortoise Shell there is with more durability and self lubrication. I have never even seen a real Tortoise Shell pick. Well I have tried just about every material and pick available and find Blue Chip to be in a league of its own. It is as durable as you can get and has almost uncanny ability to glide across the strings, with no wear or clicking. The tone is exceptional. I will buying a few more for my needs when I can. I had no idea such advances in materials, workmanship & playability existed until I tried Blue Chip.

  6. Just what I have learned to expect 5 Star Review

Posted by on 6th Jan 2016

Picked this pick sorts a bonus since there was free engraving. As always great pick. I wanted to try a pick that was just a bit thicker than the TD40 and this was it.
    Really like these picks overall.
Sure they aren't cheap and I really make sure not to lose them cause that could be a wallet breaker.
Great sound and great feel couldn't really ask for more in a pick

  7. Just Right 5 Star Review

I liked the TD60 I first bought; I liked the CT55 I bought even better, after I had reshaped one point to get rid of that big fat corner (please offer that thickness in more shapes). I like the TD45 better yet. There's less impact noise than with the super-fat picks which seem to be all the rage. Light, fast, smooth sound - it's great.

  8. "Pick"ed a winner 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Jan 2016

I've used "TD" style picks my whole life and when I discovered bluechip, I thought, oh come on, how good can this be for those $. Well it's worth it. Just don't misplace or lose it (maybe I'll start selling pick insurance policies). I bought a TD50 a couple years ago and still have it and still love it. I thought I'd try the 45. Great pick too. I prefer the 50. There isn't that much difference but I seem to like the 50 just a tad better. Oh yeah, get the little keychain pick holder. It's great.

  9. Best pick I've ever used 5 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Jan 2016

BlueChip's TD45 is the best pick I've played with yet. It probably will be the best. Can't say I've tried them all, but this pick is almost too good to be true. Thanks to all the BlueChip staff who beautifully craft these wonderful picks!

  10. TD45 is awesome for acoustic guitar! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Dec 2015

Wow! The new TD45 is an amazing pick. I had been using the TD40 on my Collings D2H for 2-3 years and it was the best pick I'd used to date until I got the new TD45. The TD45 gets a louder, fuller, bolder tone out of my guitar and is slightly less flexible which I prefer. The TD40 has just a little bit more flex to it. I'm now using my TD40 on electric and it's perfect since the strings aren't as heavy. In my opinion the TD45 is the perfect pick for those who are used to a standard teardrop pick. It has just the right amount of thickness with not a lot of discernible flex if that's what you prefer.
