Got mine early March, great sounding and feeling pick, but the tip is worn off now mid- May. Simply doesn't last long enough at $35 a pick for my needs. If you have the money to keep buying them, or play for a hobby and not a profession, you will be satisfied. They are awesome, but I like Acetyl, too, and can get 100 of them for $50. Blue Chip has a better tone, though, but not by a dramatic margin. Great quality pick, really enjoyed my experience playing them, but they indeed do wear out with regular use, so keep that in mind. I have been playing guitar for 33 years and do it for a living in Austin, Texas.

Slick and crisp and the strings just shimmer. Makes other picks seem like plastic.

After over a decade of searching I finally found the right pick. Thanks Blue Chip!

I've tried a number of Blue Chip picks recently and while they are all good the TD45 LH just feels right. I expect to buy a TAD45 LH in the near future to give me additional grip. I'm trying to learn to play left handed mandolin after losing the index and middle fingers on my left hand forced me to change hands.

I have used many different picks, and this pick is a whole different creature. For a while now I've been using real tortoise picks, and this is very similar in tone to a tortoise shell pick. Well done guys!

Since I’ve been using this Pick my confidence has grown with my flatpicking and strumming. The pick glides effortlessly from one string to the next. Even when my fingers start sweating this pick stays put. The difference in tone is incredible, string clarity and a fuller sound no string noise. This pick is worth every penny.

Did not know what to expect but just ordered the TD 45 from what i was reading in the AGF (forum). But after using it a couple of days it is the best i ever used. So thanks to Blue Chip for this great product and you got another happy user in the Netherlands, Europe.

I love my blue chip picks! I recently purchased a TD45 to replace a TD40 that I lost and it has been a great purchase, as expected. I spent an extra $5 to put my phone number on the back. I would ask that blue chip consider allowing a little more room for wording. Due to the high price, I want to be able to put something like, "If found, call xxx-xxx-xxxx" so that, if lost, it just might find its way back to me.

I love the TD40 and TD45. I've tried others and you just can't beat Blue Chip picks for their feel and sound.

I recently purchased the TD45 pick and I have to say I really like it a lot.
I had previously bought a TD60 but sad to say I lost it and tried the TD45.
Both are excellent, but I prefer the TD60.
I would recommend Blue Chip picks, they are my favorite by far.
