The TPR is our classic TP pick with corners that are slightly round in a 50/1000th of an inch(1.25mm) thickness. Our picks are all precision machined and hand beveled for the highest quality.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

Love my TPR50 Pick! Best Mandolin Pick Ever!
Posted by D. Smith on 1st Feb 2022
I've spent years trying to find the "right" pic. Well I resisted buying a blue chip for a long time. Finally read enough reviews from people I respect to give them a try. All I can say is my search is over. Blue chips work for me.

I find the blue pick chip so much easier to use than my traditional pics for mandolin and guitar. It is easy to hold, and it glides easily on my strings.
I also seem to have more control when strumming.

Play both guitar and mandolin with TPR 50 picks.....best sound, best durability, best shape for me.

I tried a few different shapes and thicknesses before settling on the pick that works best for me; the TPR50. I like the pick so much, I ordered two more just in case. With so much invested in our instruments and the pursuit of great tone, it is a small investment that has a huge impact.

I decided to create a chord melody/jazz pick. Real smooth. I got the TPR, all rounded. I also got no speed bevel. Jackpot! I immediately bought another, this time a TPR 60.

Great pick! I think the smaller pick gets me closer to the strings and gives me more control. Bluechip gives me great tone and is smooth.

I received my pick for Father’s Day this year and I was completely blown away by the increase in volume and the warm tone. I love it. It sounds like I have a pickup in my mandolin.
They are not cheap but my kids bought for me. I love having kids with jobs.
Great product and hope to get one for my guitar in the future.

For jazz, slightly smaller size is manageable, but the rounder edge pulls a slightly darker, mellower tone from my flat tops, arch tops and solid electric. But, the clarity & definition are noticeable. This pick doesn't thin the sound or make it harsh—volume without sacrificing warmth.

I have always played with standard teardrop shaped flatpicks in the past, but after hearing other players use the TPR-50 I had to give this pick a try. It produces a wonderful fat sound that really sounds great. The rounded corners also makes it easier to play at faster tempos, and the triangle shape reduces the time spent positioning the pick in your hand.
