  1. Yes. These picks ARE worth it. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Jul 2025

Great sound. Great feel. I was particularly interested in the claims that this material has a natural "stickiness" to help prevent the pick from turning in my grip. I've tried lots of other "grippy" picks and most of them don't really work for me, but this material does. I opted for an engraving, but I wanted greek letters - ΙΧΘΥΣ. I was concerned that they might not be able to handle that, but the order form allowed me to enter it, so I was happy to see my pick arrive with my chosen engraving. Nice!

  2. Great feeling pick 5 Star Review

Definitely enjoy the feel and tone of this pick. It has a place along with other types of picks I use. Definitely would recommend this to anyone searching for a better tool.

  3. Repeat customer! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Jun 2025

Bought the TD 40 to try a traditional shape guitar pick. Love it! It's replacing the Fender heavy gauge picks I usually use. Like the low amount of pick noise. Guitar picks usually make one of three sounds " Thud Thud Thud", "Scratch Scratch Scratch" or " Click Click Click". This pick doesn't do any of that!!!

  4. BlueChip Is the Best 5 Star Review

Posted by on 7th Mar 2025

Yes, they are expensive, but you get what you pay for. Compared to a more regular pick, BlueChip hand polishes all edges of the pick, so the point of attack is perfect. I've been using BlueChip picks for years, and they hold up extremely well. Money well spent. This was reinforced recently when I picked up a combo pack of Rombo picks. The edges were terrible. I should have known better...

  5. workhorse of a pick 5 Star Review

I’ve been playing the TD 40 for many years. The tone quality is perfect for flatpicking.

  6. For me, there is no turning back from my Blue Chips 5 Star Review

Posted by on 6th Jan 2025

I have two TD55 Blue Chip picks that I use for my acoustic playing, primarily bluegrass and jazz. I've had those picks for at least 10 years, and I use them all the time. They are still great. I wanted to get a lighter more flexible pick for my electric guitar playing. I finally picked up a TD40. I have some other picks for my electric playing that are good and I like a lot, but the Blue Chip is just the level above. Feels good in the hand, feels good going across the strings. Just love it. For me, totally worth the money.

It’s true. The TD40 is my first Blue Chip pick and it is worth every penny. Thank you!

  8. Third pick - same great quality 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Nov 2024

This is my third Bluechip pick and now my go to. Same fine quality and tone as the others. Thinking about going a little heavier for my next one.

  9. Worth the price 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Aug 2024

Excellent tone characteristics. I was initially concerned with pic movement in my fingers, but this one stays in place better than any others i have tried. My old pics are not longer made the search was on to find a replacement. This one does everything I need.
Great guitar pic and well worth the price.

  10. BlueChip Picks Are Something Unique 5 Star Review

Posted by on 19th Jun 2024

I’ve been playing for years, and always switched around, looking for a pick that suited me.
My luthier let me play a song with his TD 40 BlueChip and I was so impressed with the feel, the way the guitar sounded, and the overall quality of this pick…Anyway, I had to have one, and it’s simply the best.
I’ll probably be buying another one soon, and will tell my guitar playing friends to try one too.
Thanks for making a great pick. Keep ‘em comin!
