  1. TD35 to replace Fender Medium 5 Star Review

Posted by on 12th Mar 2018

I was reluctant to spend so much on a single pick, but the first time I played with it I noticed a vast improvement in tone and playability over the Fender medium picks I've been using for years. It glides across the strings so easily that it seems to disappear in your hand, and it makes a full round sound that is closer to a rest stroke with your fingers. Great pick. Thanks!

  2. super pick! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 6th Mar 2018

Love the feel of this pick between my thumb and first finger, slightly tacky but also smooth. The tone that is generated is bright but with no string “click” noise. Pricy for a pick but worth the money.

  3. This is a winner! 5 Star Review

I've never been a big proponent of 'firm' picks--but I am now...my TD35 makes my guitar sing like never before...thx!!

  4. They are great picks. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 7th Feb 2018

If you’re looking for a great Pick that feels solid and comfortable in your hand and runs off the string smoothly then this is a great pick. The price makes it hard to recommend though, so if you’re looking and the price doesn’t bother you, go ahead, I think you’ll get something out of it - I did. If the price bothers you, then don’t, it cannot fix bad technique or fix you a drink. It’s not B.B. King in a pick. It’s an expensive but great pick.

    Will I buy more? Yep.
Would I buy the leather case to hold them? Yep. Loosing them makes them more expensive for all the wrong reasons.
Will I ever use another pick? Yep.
Am I rock god? Hell no.

  5. I can hear the difference 5 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Jan 2018

When I received this pick I sat down and did side by side test with this and other picks I use for strumming and single note playing. I did this on both a rosewood and mahogany acoustics. Without a doubt I can hear a more rich clear tone with the BlueChip Pick than any of the others I use. I could hear it while playing and I could hear it when I recorded the test. The BlueChip does take a little getting use to as it does slide over the strings fast and smooth. The difference in tone is subtle but it is there and for me that alone makes the cost worthwhile.

  6. Great picks! 5 Star Review

I just bought the TD 35 and 40 and have nothing but breat things to say. I gravitated from Tortex to here largely because of the slippage. These picks glide off of the strings but not out of your fingers - they’re great. I love the string clarity and tone, too.

  7. 1st bluechip 5 Star Review

Posted by on 10th Jan 2018

I mostly play children’s music and until recently rarely use a pick. The blue chip pick has given me the warmth of my fingers with the strength and volume of a pick. I’ve experimented with various picks and hands down this is the best. My only question would be if there is a blue chip guitar pick with a little more treble for those times I want it to sound a bit more tinted. However I’ve only tried the 35 so i sure about the rest of the line up. Thoughts would be appreciated. Happy picking all!

  8. Sort of expensive.... but who cares.... 5 Star Review

Posted by on 8th Jan 2018

Worth every dime. Fine, fine sounding and feeling pick. Hard to find if dropped outside due to brown color (wish there was an applied reflective dot or three), but dropping is rare, it is nowhere as slippery as my old picks- the reason they dropped was NOT slipping out of my fingers while playing. Beer may have been present.

I have dropped on dark ground and leaf litter, and lost, two picks (in 7 years)... but returned with no hesitation to buy a replacement each time. Its the feel in my fingers and ultra clean tone that keeps me coming back- the pick does not wear down in my experience, so it "never" wears out. If you don't want to buy replacements, don't lose it, like some klutz I could name... In my mind its the one and only pick I need or want.

  9. Best guitar pick ever 5 Star Review

Posted by on 3rd Jan 2018

I'm one of those "old farts" that started playing guitar in the early 60's. Over those 50+ years I have played both casually and professionally and have developed preferences and opinions as all players do. I have used Fender medium flat picks for most of the years playing until discovering Blue Chip TD35 picks. A friend showed them to me and gave me one to try for a while. They are thicker and heavier than the Fenders, but they mysteriously are not easily dropped and create a unique sound on my guitars. I know nothing about why this is, but they do. Now they are the only pick I us, and well worth the price. Thanks

  10. Terrific Pick! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Jan 2018

As I've gotten older, I started having trouble holding on to my flatpicks. I have tried just about every shape and brand pick out there and continued to struggle with grip. My brother sent me a TD 35(RB) as a gift about month ago (along with large and small BCwood pick boxes.) Pleasantly surprised by my impressions of the Blue Chip pick, I wanted to try out the TD35 with a bevel, so I ordered the RH version. I am happy to say I have FINALLY found "the" pick for me. Very nice tone, great "glide" across the strings and best of all it doesn't slip out of my fingers. I played 90 minutes straight at a recent holiday gathering and it didn't slip once! Great product. I spoke to a gentleman at their shop one morning and he was extremely helpful and friendly. Blue Chip ships your order quickly, too.
