Is it a very nice pick. YES, I like it a lot...but I also really like my Dunlop Primetone (Ultex) .73 at $5.00 for three. Classic case of "diminishing returns" benefit vs. cost. Oh well, hopefully I won't lose it and will play many hours with it.

My initial reaction was "what's the fuss" and why so expensive? But I seem to keep picking this up over other picks I've got. It's not amazing, it's just kind of transparent. I really can't describe it. But when I play something else and then grab this, I stay with this. The guitar sounds like the guitar, uncolored. I bought two more. The price is high, but with the amount of $$$ I have in my guitars, I guess the cost of a few of these fades into the background pretty quickly. Not a pick you want to lose though!
Only 4 stars for the price and it's not as grippy as I like, but I can probably improve the grip if I work at it a bit... Overall, I'm surprisingly satisfied.

I play with a flatpick on two 00-size Martin guitars--one mahogany back and sides, one rosewood. When I want the bass notes to come forward in a direct and audible manner, the TD35 is my favorite pick. I love this pick when I play rhythm guitar with walk ups and downs on old-time tunes to accompany a mandolin, banjo, or fiddle. I usually go for other, brighter picks when I pick the melody, and still others for strictly strumming. That said, if I had to choose just one pick to use for everything, I'd go with this one. It really is the best pick I own.

Blue Chip picks are comfortable and stay in your fingers without undue gripping. Most importantly the sound they produce is pick loud but not twangy or raspy. Combine the playability with the product handeling and it altogether a good experience.

this is by far the best pick I've ever used, always been a fender medium but never more, I will be ordering a couple more, thanks for a great product.

I received my first Blue Chip pick last week and I have been very impressed with it thus far. Best pick I have ever used! I'm planning to try some other weights and sizes.

This pick has been great for both acoustic and electric rhythm work as well as lead work.

I was turned on to Blue Chip Picks by my guitar teacher. He showed me a 50 TD which is thicker than I normally use. I also had new strings on my D18 that day. The strings with a normal pick were bright and ringing, with the 50TD there was a night and day difference in the tone. Still had that new string ambiance but with a mellow jazzy tone. With new strings, I could change picks and go from a bright country-folky sound (normal pick) to a mellow jazz tone and it was like a totally different guitar. I purchased a 35TD and could not quite capture that same difference but have yet to put on a new set of strings to check out the results. The pick itself feels like no other I have held in my 40 + years of playing. Doesn't seem to slide out of my sweaty hands. Great texture.
