  1. 1st bluechip 5 Star Review

Posted by on 10th Jan 2018

I mostly play children’s music and until recently rarely use a pick. The blue chip pick has given me the warmth of my fingers with the strength and volume of a pick. I’ve experimented with various picks and hands down this is the best. My only question would be if there is a blue chip guitar pick with a little more treble for those times I want it to sound a bit more tinted. However I’ve only tried the 35 so i sure about the rest of the line up. Thoughts would be appreciated. Happy picking all!

  2. Sort of expensive.... but who cares.... 5 Star Review

Posted by on 8th Jan 2018

Worth every dime. Fine, fine sounding and feeling pick. Hard to find if dropped outside due to brown color (wish there was an applied reflective dot or three), but dropping is rare, it is nowhere as slippery as my old picks- the reason they dropped was NOT slipping out of my fingers while playing. Beer may have been present.

I have dropped on dark ground and leaf litter, and lost, two picks (in 7 years)... but returned with no hesitation to buy a replacement each time. Its the feel in my fingers and ultra clean tone that keeps me coming back- the pick does not wear down in my experience, so it "never" wears out. If you don't want to buy replacements, don't lose it, like some klutz I could name... In my mind its the one and only pick I need or want.

  3. Best guitar pick ever 5 Star Review

Posted by on 3rd Jan 2018

I'm one of those "old farts" that started playing guitar in the early 60's. Over those 50+ years I have played both casually and professionally and have developed preferences and opinions as all players do. I have used Fender medium flat picks for most of the years playing until discovering Blue Chip TD35 picks. A friend showed them to me and gave me one to try for a while. They are thicker and heavier than the Fenders, but they mysteriously are not easily dropped and create a unique sound on my guitars. I know nothing about why this is, but they do. Now they are the only pick I us, and well worth the price. Thanks

  4. Terrific Pick! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Jan 2018

As I've gotten older, I started having trouble holding on to my flatpicks. I have tried just about every shape and brand pick out there and continued to struggle with grip. My brother sent me a TD 35(RB) as a gift about month ago (along with large and small BCwood pick boxes.) Pleasantly surprised by my impressions of the Blue Chip pick, I wanted to try out the TD35 with a bevel, so I ordered the RH version. I am happy to say I have FINALLY found "the" pick for me. Very nice tone, great "glide" across the strings and best of all it doesn't slip out of my fingers. I played 90 minutes straight at a recent holiday gathering and it didn't slip once! Great product. I spoke to a gentleman at their shop one morning and he was extremely helpful and friendly. Blue Chip ships your order quickly, too.

  5. I liked it so much I bought another one. 5 Star Review

There is something unique with these picks. The sound I get out of my acoustics is not bright and loud (like with my tortoise shell pick, for instance). Neither is it harsh and aggressive like my "basic" 1mm standard picks. Rather, I get a more mellow, muted and noise-less (from the pick itself) sound that is more pleasing to me than any other pick I own.

I recently misplaced my old TD35 and promptly ordered another one to make up for the unacceptable loss. Granted, these are very expensive but I cannot see me going without one anymore.

  6. its the best Jerry. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 21st Dec 2017

I purchased my first blue Chip years ago because of Chris Thile of Nickel Creek. I love playing mando. While gigging, all sweaty the picks gripped my fingers well. Just after that I would put it down and grab my six string and "the other" pick just slide out of my fingers. I would dream of a six string that could work as well as my Blue Chip. Well, they make one and it is perfect! Also, the sound created on my acoustic is just a step away from the fingernail sound. It has a rich tone that translates well. I love it:)

  7. Best acoustic guitar pic, hands down, up, sideways! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 20th Dec 2017

I didn't know about BlueChip pics until I bought a used Martin D-18 off someone that graciously threw in a TD35 pic. My favorite now for sure, and my go-to when I want to sound my absolute best. Try one, you'll agree.

  8. Clean sound 5 Star Review

A great pick that sounds very clean. Excellent feel strumming. i didn,t think a pick would make such a difference in the sound but try it for yourself. Awsome!

  9. Very food! 5 Star Review

Great Picks! I had bought the Jazz LG 35 and came back for the TD35. Loved them all! Great sound and playability! I strongly recommend!

  10. Would you drive a Ferrari in flip-flops? 5 Star Review

Posted by on 22nd Oct 2017

This is my first Blue Chip pick and I immediately noticed a level of sensitivity and control that truly makes this pick an extension of my strumming hand. What an incredible difference. This pick makes practicing and playing so much more enjoyable for me: I'm no longer distracted that my pick will slip in my grip; it glides seamlessly between strings and plays precisely as I intend it to. As a beginner, I didn't invest much in my first guitar. The money I spent on my TD-35 LH has been worth the confidence it's afforded.
