This is the TAD pick in 60/1000 of an inch(1.5mm) thickness. It is shaped identically to the TP, but is slightly larger. All BlueChip Picks are professionally machined, laser engraved, and hand beveled.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

You’re at a jam, and the inevitable topic of picks comes up. The “have you tried this?” or, “how about that?”, etc.
Stop! There is no substitute for this pick. Period! Plus the folks that make ‘em do it for the love of picking and this community.
I love this pick. I love playing with it. End of story.

I'll admit that the only reason I originally became interested in Blue Chip was because I had heard John Mayer uses them. Then they became something of a legend to me. I had begun trying thicker picks, different shapes.. Previous to this I had been a Dunlop .73 user for years. So moving into thicker picks was new to me. I started with the Dunlop Primetone 1.5 picks and got comfortable with the shape and feel of it. Then after months of deciding that I did indeed like the bigger picks more, I made my purchase.
The TAD60 is everything I had hoped it would be. The way the pick rolls off the strings when you're playing is something that is very difficult to explain using words, you just have to feel it. I never feel like the pick is too loose or is going to drop when I'm using it which is always a worry. And so far it hasn't even started to wear down. It really is a great pick and really does what they say it will, allows you to connect more with your instrument.

I know what you're thinking, why is a bassist using a pick? I'm in a rock band and the added attack helps me to break through the two distorted guitars in the band.
The Blue Chip TAD 60 RB is the one I've been using for Studio Recording and our producer commented on how much smoother and cleaner my lines have become.
The Pick has a nice thickness to it and has become my go to for Studio work. The grip is also great and the tone is like butter on hot cornbread! They're worth the cost and I will definitely be purchasing more of them!

Nice upgrade and more sound from my Collings than before. Bevel works great, easy playing, louder but not harsh..

This is my second Blue Chip pick that I purchased for my mandolin as a backup for my other out of fear I would lose one and be stuck without it. I previously purchased a TAD-1R 60 that I love, but never use the "R" corner and decided having symmetry was a lot easier. Occasionally using with my guitar as well. Yes, these picks are a bit of an investment, but I am convinced that I play better and more smoothly while using them and gladly plunked down the money. That is my story and I'm sticking to it!

What a pick. I bought 3 because these picks had a noticeable effect on my playing.

Blue Chip picks are long lasting and very good quality.
They answer questions quickly and thoroughly. Customizing a pick is easy. Just let them know in the comments. Best picks.

My BlueChip pick sounds noticeable better than my previous one. As someone said, it doesn't immediately make you play better but it makes what you play sound better, and therefore makes you want to play better.
I am rating at 4 stars only because I would like a little more or deeper etching on both sides for a better grip.
I personally like the larger size and thickness of the TAD60, but I understand that is a personal preference.

I have a problem with gripping the pick due to minor nerve damage. Also, I'm very critical of the tone a pick brings out of my dreadnought. This TAD60 is the very best I have experienced after many years of searching! I a/b tested the BC with what I was using. Had been using stick on grips to aid in holding. NO NEED for these now! TAD60 is the easiest ever to hold on to! AND, the tone is the most clear ever with increased volume. Yep, the price is concerning, but in my opinion well worth it. Last pick I'll ever need!
