This is the TAD pick in 60/1000 of an inch(1.5mm) thickness. It is shaped identically to the TP, but is slightly larger. All BlueChip Picks are professionally machined, laser engraved, and hand beveled.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I use it on all my mandos - vintage and modern. No click, just pick!

I bought the TAD 60 some years ago (with a thumb pick as well) and have always taken great care of these and have never ever used anything else since. (I own over 100 picks of different brands) I use it with my acoustic and e-guitars.
Last week I played in Christian meetings and we were three guitar players. One of them asked me for my pick and said afterwards that it must be a very expensive pick, because it felt like it :-)
At the end of my stay I gave it him (He was very happy) I and ordered exactly the same once home! These are the best!

Already own a CT55 and a TAD60. Amazing what they do for your tone and they play like ice skates on freshly Zamboni'd ice!!! I prefer the shape of the CT55, which I use on my octave mandolin like 12 string, but the TAD60 sounds better with my Taylor, so I modified the TAD60 to mimic it. Awesome!!! Ordered 2 more TAD60s with the CT55 shape.
WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!
Easy to understand why top level players use these!!!!
Pricy for just a plectrum, but sure worth it!!!

I’m blown away with the way this pick slides on the strings with ease and still has brilliant tones with the strings!! One of the best picks I’ve ever played with. I waited for 45 years to buy one. I’ve played for a long time, I wish I’d bought one along time ago. Mossman- Winter Wheat-1977
Perfect balance!!
Thanks fellas!

Definitely beats any pick I've used to date. Pricey but worth it in my view. Highly recommend!

I understand that these picks cost a premium. It was one of the reasons why I waited so long just to try one out. But when my TAD 60 arrived and I began to experiment with it and I immediately noticed that my picking speed improved as well as yielding a much cleaner/clearer note articulation. In addition, whether I dug into the string, used pinch harmonics or just picked softly, the tonal results were far superior than any pick I’ve used to date. When it comes down to it, especially when playing classic rock and blues, the two things that vastly improved my tone were changing string gauges and switching to Bluechip picks. So for under $50, I was able to do for my tone what some pay 10 times or more for when they buy upgraded pickups and/or vintage spec tone/volume posts & wiring harnesses. I can’t say enough about how pleased I am with my TAD 60’s.

After years of using the Blue Chip thumbpick for banjo, I ordered this flatpick for playing guitar. It arrived quickly and has impressive tone and volume. Considering my experience with the thumbpick, I was not surprised. Blu Chip for the blue ribbon

I prefer this pick for my adirondack-spruce mandolins when playing bluegrass or classical music. Of course, it's awesome for everything else as well, and I happily rotate between this TAD60 and a TAD80. Try them both. Try them all!

I keep a Blue Chip TAD60 tucked under the strings of everything I own—mandolin, guitar and resonator guitar. Always at the ready, like a violinist and their bow. The material is stiff and doesn’t bend, which is just what I want. And, with their amazing grippiness, it’s nearly impossible to drop one. These things really make the strings sing.
