This is the TAD pick in 60/1000 of an inch(1.5mm) thickness. It is shaped identically to the TP, but is slightly larger. All BlueChip Picks are professionally machined, laser engraved, and hand beveled.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I wasn’t sure there was much difference in picks versus the picker. But this pick definitely makes the strings chime in a shimmering shine. Adds clarity to single note picking as well. Nice product. At this price though, I will guard it with my life.

A Superb Material and excellent beveling make this flatpick top-notch. The TAD60 is slightly large for my hand but the thickness is perfect for my taste: extra heavy 1.5... I've also purchased a TP60, considerably smaller rounded triangle, one TD35, two TD60, and one TD80. Lucky me. These picks are pricey: I suggest the engraving option for identification purposes. I also suggest, however, that Blue Chip consider alternate colors because these picks are very easy to misplace or lose (beneficial for Blue Chip, I suppose). Now I only use an old real tortoiseshell leftover and good-gripping great-sounding Blue Chips.

The TAD60 is my gold standard guitar pick. Nothing even comes close to the quality these guys put out.

Always been a TAD 50, man. Then I saw Marcel with this and gave it a try. Crisp, darker tone for me, gets a bit more volume out. Breaking a bit more strings, too (but in the good way).

It really enhances the sound of whatever guitar you are playing. I’ll be ordering some more soon. Well worth the price!

3 days ago I sat with an artist I have worked with for years and did a blind test with 3 Blue Chip picks and 3 TS picks on my 1963 Gibson J50. The Blue Chips were a TAD 40 TAD 50 and TAD 60. Blue Chips held their own against the TS and were prefferred a couple times over TS for tone and attack.
I'm so glad Blue Chip invited me to write a review for my purchase. I ordered my very first BC picks after seeing them mentioned on a bluegrass group online. They ran a sale that offerred free engraving and a free pick pouch, I ordered 2 picks. When there was a very minor mix up with my order, I hesitantly got in touch to let them know..... wow. They immediately responded and generously resolved the issue with a free pick. The order was rushed to me with a sincere apology and a smile.

Nice pick, horrible shipping. Spent $5 for a piece of plastic that was sent snail mail and took 10 days!! Literally, tape the fricking pick to a piece of 8.5x11 paper, fold it in thirds, and drop it in in an envelope for .50 cents. It would have been to me sooner and saved me some money.

I have several Blue Chip picks for mandolin use. Various shapes and thicknesses. The TAD 60 with the right-hand bevel was the sweet spot for me. It has a little beefier tone that the CT 55, though each has its place. I am thrilled with my newest pick and appreciate the great service!
