Product Description

This is the TAD pick in 60/1000 of an inch(1.5mm) thickness. It is shaped identically to the TP, but is slightly larger. All BlueChip Picks are professionally machined, laser engraved, and hand beveled.

Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

  1. Best Pick I have ever used 5 Star Review

Posted by on 12th Nov 2024

After 50+ years of playing and trying countless different picks, the Bluechip TAD 60 (1.5mm) is by far the best for me. If you spend thousands of dollars on a quality guitar "for the tone", $40 seems like a minimal investment for a quality pick. Thanks Bluechip!

  2. Blue Chip Pick_TAD 60_Excellent 5 Star Review

I'm a professional musician who has been playing guitar for over 50 years, since I was four years old. A friend loaned me a TAD 60 and I used it for a few weeks to play Django jazz. I liked it a lot. At jam sessions I compared its tone and feel with other picks. Listeners said it was warmer than the other picks and I agreed. I bought three of my own and am happy with the purchase. The three picks are consistent in tone. I like it's sound and feel on acoustic Selmer style guitars and on my archtop. It is the only pick I use now.

  3. Great pick (for me) 4 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Sep 2024

I've been searching far and wide for the perfect pick and it seems that I found it in the TAD 60. The thickness is just right for me so I'm pretty happy. One issue I did encounter. I have 2 TAD60 picks. One makes a lot brighter sound than the other. One of my goals has always been to find a pick that produces a consistent sound without a need to replace it every couple months. With the plastic this thick I can't imagine I've worn it out but maybe my expectations are not realistic Would appreciate your feedback on that. I use medium gauge strings 13-56

Purchased a TD next and love it but the TAD form is best for me overall. Worth the price in my opinion.

  6. TAD 60 Blue Chip Pick Review 5 Star Review

This is my favorite pick for acoustic. I don’t ever play with lighter picks like some guitar manufacturers recommend for different sounds. If you need a more delicate sound then you just need to lighten your touch or attack. You get all the sounds and better tone with this pick.

I bought this last TAD60 for a friend of mine. I love that you can get them engraved. Made for a very special gift. It's the best pick I've ever owned.

  10. Expensive, but worth it! 5 Star Review

This pick is the perfect size and shape. The edges slide perfectly across the strings due to the bevel. Try one and see for yourself.
