This pick was custom designed and created for Kenny Smith. It is the exact style that he is currently using. The Kenny Smith signature picks are very similar to a TPR, but slightly smaller. This is the 60/1000 of an inch(1.5mm).
Kenny Smith pick with a quarter on top. Note the size. This is a small pick.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I have used these picks for years, I not found a pick better for me than these, they never wear out, I use the Kenny Smith signature pick in two different thickness, 55 and 60, they are smooth and glide over the strings without a lot of pick noise.

I love these picks. No other pick feels the way they do and I definitely hear a tonal improvement over others I’ve used. They are not cheap but worth it. After using these, no other pick satisfies.

This has been a great pick I have used this same pick for years now since around 2006 or 2007 can't remember bought first one at the red white and bluegrass festival and just fell in love with it. I use this pick with mandolin and Guitar

I’ve been on a quest for the right pick for years based on the following criteria: 1) Feel 2) tone and 3) the ability to tuck the pick when fingerpicking. Many picks satisfied one or two of theses, but never all of them. I resisted BlueChip because of the price but, ironically, spent a ludicrous amount on every other pick out there. The moment I tried BlueChip (and it wasn’t the KS60 to begin with), I knew I’d found the material satisfying criteria 1) and 2) above. The rest was simply finding the right shape for 3). For this, I place one monster grip on one side, and the pick seamlessly slides back and forth from picking, to being tucked out of the way into my pinky. The KS60 is like an extension of my picking hand - just awesome, and thank you BlueChip for your innovation in creating a wholly unique pick!

After purchasing this pick and a Jazz60, all the rest of my picks went into a bag tucked away on the back shelf. Except for a V-pick 3mm, which I reserve for fast, percussive-style playing due to its noticeable string/pick noise. This pick produces a slightly warmer tone than the Jazz60, and due to the rounder edges is not quite as "fast," but it produces more volume, particularly mid's and bass. 99% of my playing time is now on these 2 BlueChip picks.

After my own experimentation with Blue Chip picks, I decided to put it to the test. I chose two of my trusted friends and guitarists to help compare brands. All three took turns passing around my '74 D-41 and used four different brands of picks. The Blue Chip was the clear choice in tone, attack and speed. I am using the KS60, having moved from a TAD model and I look forward to experimenting with other models in the future.
