This pick was custom designed and created for Kenny Smith. It is the exact style that he is currently using. The Kenny Smith signature picks are very similar to a TPR, but slightly smaller. This is the 40/1000 of an inch(1.0mm) which is the thickness of Kenny's personal BlueChip Pick.
Kenny Smith pick with a quarter on top. Note the size. This is a small pick.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I absolutely love these picks! I ordered a couple different models and when I decided which one I liked best the company allowed me to exchange the picks for the model I liked best!! The customer service was top notch!! The mailing could not have been faster!! I could not be happier with my experience with the Bluechip picks and the Blue chip company!! I will be a life long customer!! Anyone considering a purchase should go for it!! I can guarantee you that you will be happy that you did!

I own around twenty BC picks in a variety of styles. I'm still on the fence as to whether I like rounded or sharper tips. But in the rounded categor of BC picks, this one is hard to beat!! It's comfortable. It doesn't move around in my fingers unless I want it to. Being a bit smaller than a TPR pick, my Kenny Smith 40 is very easy to control. My playing seems tighter and more assured. Kenny Smith is a great guitar player. BlueChip is a fantastic company with KILLER products. Highly recommended!!!!

I already had a KS60 and I love the shape. It's the only pick I use for playing electric guitar. I found the tone to be too muddy when I tried it on my acoustic guitar. I bought this KS40 hoping that it would give me a brighter tone and it worked out great. The tone is significantly brighter than the KS60, but not too bright. Now I use the KS40 for acoustic and the KS60 for electric. Couldn't be happier with my Blue Chip picks.

Being an avid proponent of BC picks for guitar, I got this a few years ago when I added Tenor Uke to my arsenal. Turned out that I had no use for a pick with the Uke, so I put it aside. But I just got a Plectrum Banjo: Bingo! It sounds amazingly close to my grandfather's old worn-down button of a tortiseshell pick that he used to play Tenor Banjo in a Dixieland band in the 1920's!

Excellent product. I love the size of this pick. I feel completely in control and as close to using my fingers as possible.

I like Blue Chip Picks so much that I bought this one for my rhythm player. Now he is a big fan of Blue Chip Pick!

I think this is my 9th BC, and looks like I really hit the sweet spot with this one.
The size and shape are perfect for me to play acoustic guitar, and the sound is great without excessive clicking.
