Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

  1. Don’t question the price 5 Star Review

Posted by on 3rd Jan 2018

I’m not sure what kind of mojo or magic these folks have but I love it. I used to use Dunlop Eric Johnson/Jazz III’s. I will never use anything but BC from now on. The pick is perfect thickness and the tone is unbelievable. It magically bonds with your thumb and finger so you don’t have to chase it or reposition. Do yourself a favor and replace your pick of choice with a BC!

  2. Great but a little thin for me 4 Star Review

Posted by on 19th Sep 2016

I recently bought several picks from Blue Chip not knowing the thickness I would like. I have used Dunlap Jazz 204/205 for a long time but a buddy had a Blue Chip which was interesting. The 35 Jazz is a little thin for my use but still a good pick.

  3. like a scalpel 5 Star Review

This pick is so precise and accurate - Its like you cutting with a scalpel notes out of your guitar - I have played now 5 different blue picks ---- Jazz 35 ----Jazz LG 40----Jazz 50 ---- Jazz LG 60 ---and CT 55 -----
All picks are amazing on its own - each different pick gives another paying feel and sound and in the end it will be a personal preference to find which pick gives you the best results for your skill level and playing style. I would recommend to buy your first bluechip pick in a size what you usually play and you can't get wrong with that ---- I am a guitar teacher and have not played a pick what is so enjoyable to play --- I have tested this pick with all my student and there was not one of my students want to go back to the old ones and every student had immediate better sound on the guitar ....... $ 35 is a bargain for what you get out and I will stay with this pick for my rest of my guitar life ---- Hope that helps to make a buying decision - congrats to bluechip pick to crack the code on how to bring the world the best pick you can imagine

  4. Great for Bluegrass too! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Nov 2015

I've had the TAD 60, STP 35, and now the Jazz 35. I mainly like to flatpick with some occasional strumming. I find the small size with sharp point very accurate for flat picking. Even though there is no bevel, the pick just glides off the strings. And since the pick is a 35 thickness, she bends every so slightly for a good strum. This is my favorite Bluechip pick of all the ones I've tried. David.

  5. This pick is awesome 5 Star Review

Demo'd the pick for a local luthier and he was totally amazed ot the sound it produced.

I totally agree. Compared it to Dunlop's Jazz pick of same thickness. Blue Chip far superior

  6. Best All-Around Guitar Pick I've Found 5 Star Review

Posted by on 19th May 2014

I wouldn't spend this much money for a pick I didn't think sounded and felt better to use than other picks. I do use some others occasionally, if I need something thinner for strumming, but I'm grateful these Blue Chip picks are available. I go through one about every 6 months, and mostly use the Jazz 35 and sometimes the Jazz 50 for a bigger sound.

  7. My best pick in 40 years! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 4th Oct 2012

I switched from Jazz III to the BC JAZZ 35. I have had alot of picks in my life and this is by far the best. I cover pretty much all guitar styles; jazz, funk, rock, blues, country and this pick works for all. As was mentioned in some of the demo videos, the pick is smooth but is easy to grip and does not get away from you when you're picking fast. It is a wonderful pick for sweep picking and high speed arpeggios. My best tip is to buy more then one and lock away the spare pick in a safe place. I lost my very first one and was having real trouble using any other pick. I know the cost is in the realm of ridiculous but there is no replacement for something that really works... I guess I would gladly trade one of my $200 distortion pedals that's sitting in the closet for a bunch of these picks.
