Inspired by Andy Wood, the IBJ55 pick is larger than a regular Jazz pick, and smaller than a Jazz LG. It has a universal rounded bevel and comes with 6 pre-drilled holes in the center. This pick is 55/1000 of an inch(1.4mm) thickness. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I was somewhat reluctant to transition to a jazz pic after years of using a traditional pic. However, I am in school learning jazz guitar method and was eager to up my game however I could.
I really love the extra grip the holes provide and I quickly adapted to the small size with good results. My playing is faster and strumming chords sounds just as smooth as ever.

Best ever, although slippery with sweat.

This pick not only glides off the strings , but it throws a pleasing tone with just enough bass response and not too much treble . It actually helps the strings to sing . Not to mention it’s ability to help the player navigate all sorts of cross picking techniques . This pick is the best of the best and I have tried them all.

I had purchased this pick a couple of weeks ago and was amazed at the feel and attack this pick had compared to others so I decided to get some backups. You will definitely want to try these picks if you are a fan of the Jazz or Petrucci pick. This pick is just a different animal and I very pleased with it. You won’t be disappointed!

Finally the perfect pick! Love the Jazz 3 (a.k.a.) Small jazz but when playing live I need just a bit bigger, but the jazz large was too big. Then I read that the IBJ was a little bit bigger than the small jazz and smaller than the large jazz. I emailed them here and asked if I could get it in a 60 thickness instead of the 55,,, of course, they said!! ALWAYS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! What a incredible pick!!!

I play all styles of music and have been on the search for the perfect guitar pick. I’ve used the Jazz 3 and liked it but small to hold to, and the Petrucci was the best bet for awhile. Then I used the Jeff Loomis pick, I liked it too but still missing something, hard to explain. Then I saw Andy Wood with this pick and was like well if it’s good enough for Andy this is a no brainer. I tried it out and immediately felt like wow, this was the missing key. It’s crazy but I found myself playing better and now I love this pick. I need to get more. It’s hard describe but it just makes sense. Try one and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

I have been using 1.14 Dunlop Tortex for 20 plus years. I switch between the standard size and the jazz3 size. I decided to try this pick out and honestly it is better.
Things I have noticed....It doesn't immediately get worn with an odd bevel like the tortex. It feels faster to me and it definitely has a 20% different sound. Maybe not brighter but more detailed. This varies with how hard you grip the pick as well. Everyones experience will probably vary but in my opinion these are fantastic. I bought two of these and two of the TD45. I don't think I will go back. The price is higher but they will last longer and you need to treat them like a tool not a throwaway accessory. Get a cool pick holder or something so you know where they are.
BlueChip is the only way for me now. See you out there.
