Product Description
This is our JD Crowe style dobro/resonator thumb pick in a size large. This is a slightly thicker blade design as compared to our banjo picks to withstand the more strenuous use on a dobro. It is constructed using a custom designed stainless steel band and a 60/1000 of an inch(1.50mm) thick BlueChip pick. These picks are laser etched, professionally machined, and hand beveled to create the best thumb pick available.
Size compares to a standard large thumb pick of any brand.

Pick the right size

The large thumb is fine. I bought a medium to begin with and it was too small for my hands. Donated it to a friend. My glove size is XL so the Large is the right size for me.

Love the sound of it on my dobro but the blade seems shorter to me thatn my plastic pick. I'm adjusting the placement but maybe I should have ordered a medium instead of the large, Well made and love the durablility.

Sounds and plays super smooth. doesn't slip, comfortable. Only issue is the tip can't be bent using hot water like I have always done with my plastic thumb picks. (At least I don't think it can be bent)
Otherwise amazing!
