Product Overview

This is our dobro/resonator thumb pick in a size small. This is a slightly thicker blade design as compared to our banjo picks to withstand the more strenuous use on a dobro. It is constructed using a custom designed stainless steel band and a 60/1000 of an inch(1.50mm) thick BlueChip pick. These picks are laser etched, professionally machined, and hand beveled to create the best thumb pick available.

Size compares to a standard small thumb pick of any brand.

    My primary banjo thumb pick!

    Love my Blue Chip. I wanted a thicker thumb pick to use on banjo. It's durable and stays on my thumb. After a little use it fit comfortable. I use my picks multiple times almost every day so I am not worried about forgetting it or losing it; to that end, it's perfect and durable.

    Well made, but very expensive

    The thumbpick is very well made and looks like it would last for many years. But, as far as playing the dobro, my cheap National plastic thumbpicks do just about as well for a tenth of the price. Your mileage may vary.
