4 curl

If the hand side of pick had more curl it wouldn't dig into cuticle so much. To avoid this I pry up pick slightly but the pick is the best I've ever used.

4 To new to review
Posted by Pepper on 16th Feb 2022
I am restarting banjo after 50 years. Previously I never got to the level I wished; I hope I achieve that this time. In doing my research for this restart I learned I should be using the BCT-BRL. I wanted to use the best so I went with the reviews and recommendations I found. I rate at four star because I am not proficient yet which is me not the pick. I am very excited to have this pick.

5 It took a lifetime to find!

At last a thumb pick that fits snugly, but doesn't cut off the blood supply! I also love the wider spacing of the BRL which gives a fantastic constant bass to my acoustic guitar. I'm going to have to order another now!

5 Excellent pick

This may be the best thumb pick I've tried yet! Very well designed, it doesn't move around, and the shape of the blade makes for a clean attack.

5 Large band with medium blade should be standard stock
Posted by Jonathan Finder on 18th Feb 2021
I ordered the "Ned Luberecki special," which is a large band with medium blade. Just right! I have seen plenty of Blue Chip thumb picks that have been modified by the user, but to keep that point at the end you will need to order one like I did. Sounds great and I don't get the head tap any more.

5 The best thumb pick I have ever used!
Posted by Dick Brown on 5th Feb 2019
I have been using BlueChip thumb picks for some years now since Matthew sent me the JD Reso model to try. When I saw an ad for this new model, designed by Russ Carson, I just had to give it a try. I've used nothing else since! It just works so well. Thanks, Russ and Matthew!
