Product Overview
The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 48/1000 of an inch thickness(1.22mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

5 The only pick I want to use

Love these so much I just don't use other picks anymore. The feel and reduction of pick noise are highlights but the durability is also very impressive.

5 Worth the investment
Posted by Kevin O on 5th Nov 2021
I have tried and used many different guitar picks over the years and nothing compares to this pick in terms of feel, grip, tone and lack of wear. The most noticeable difference is the lack of friction and how smoothly the pick runs over the strings with no drag or resistance. The tone created is far superior than any other pick I've tried. The price is expensive for a guitar pick but not compared to many other things we spend $30-$40 dollars on. If you are someone like me who doesn't lose his picks, this is well worth the money. It really is an amazing product.

5 It makes ALL the difference
Posted by James on 26th Oct 2021
I had a hard time believing that a pick could make such a big change in my playing until i actually spent some time playing with my Bluechip. The material is hands down the best you are going to get without getting on the black market and finding a real tortoiseshell pick (would not recommend) and even then, I don't know that you could tell the difference. The beveled edges make for very fluid transitions across strings and glide off of wound strings instead of catching the grooves. The thickness and firmness are perfect for finesse playing while maintaining great sound and volume. Word of advice.... Buy the pick holder! This is not the type of pick you want to lose under the couch!

5 Literally, the beat pic
Posted by Tom F. on 5th Oct 2021
For over a year, I randomly bought different picks to try & find the most comfortable pick to play bluegrass style acoustic guitar. Only a couple picks worked for me, but we’re not 100% perfect for me. So I googled what pick Billy Strings uses and the Bluechip came up. His excuse for using it was that Bryan Sutton uses it. So I ordered 1 directly through Bluechip (as oppose to other sites) and it came lightning quick! After using it, it surpassed all the other picks I used. It’s smooth enough to strum great chords and plays single notes very comfortably!

5 Absolutely Stellar!
Posted by Blair Marsden on 11th Aug 2021
It is hard to put into words how excellent these picks are. They brought a noticeable sense of fluidity and ease to my playing immediately. The form, the function and the feel of the TP48s’ I bought are far superior and indeed far more pleasurable than any other pick I have tried to date. An absolute joy to have in hand. Thank you to the folks at BlueChip. I owe you a bunch of coffees and a few breakfasts’ should the stars line up. Thank You.

5 The perfect pick

I bought this as a gift for my son who is an avid guitar and mandolin player. He said it is the best pick he has ever used. The size, shape, and cut are all perfect.
