Product Overview
The TP is our classic triangular pick in a 48/1000 of an inch thickness(1.22mm). The TP is the same size as the TPR, but has slightly sharper corners. All of our picks are professionally machined, hand beveled, and laser etched.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

5 Great sound

I had the TP40 and loved it. Saw the 48 and had to give it a try. The sound is awesome. Slightly deeper tones especially on the bass strings. Great for bluegrass and country, especially on my Martin HD-28V with Martin Retro Tony Rice medium strings.

5 best overall for my flat picking

This pick with a bevel turns out to be the sweet spot for my flatpicking- mostly bluegrass and fiddle tunes. Not too thick- not too thin. I have over a dozen blue chips and this is the one I have additional backups for.

Great pick all around. Nice feel, good thickness and width. They cost a little more but well worth the money. They are very durable.

I've been using Blue Chip Picks for years. I love them! Everybody should use them. I have Jazz and traditional models (for tele and les paul) and recently I wanted to try the TP48 becaues of it's 3 corners and thickness. I love using it on flat top guitar and mandolin. I love this pick! It slides very rapidly across the strings( speed bevel option of course). I had a period of acclamation. After which, the clarity and balanced tone of single notes were astonishing. I honestly wish I had found this pick sooner in my life. This changed the sound and tone of my acoustic dreadnought profoundly. Thank you BlueChip for making such a wonderful product!!

This is a great pick. I've tried a few different expensive pick brands, and I always come back to my BlueChip. It sets the standard in my opinion.

I like the TP 60 even better! The extra thickness of the 60 feels just a little bit more "at home" to my picking grip. The TP 48 is solid, don't get me wrong, and both are the best picks I've ever used. Period. Shellback OC9
