My now go to pick for whatever I am playing. Acoustic or electric. This pick feels so comfortable and responds flawlessly. I wish I had got these years ago.

5 New Favorite

I have a couple of lighter TDs and a couple of TPs. The TD45 hits the sweet spot for me. The shape is a lot like the Fender Mediums I played with for years, but the TD45 sounds better than the Fenders to my ears. Probably have to get a couple more for backup.

I’ve wanted one of these for the longest time. Got the 45 as a Christmas gift and so far I’m liking it very much for both guitar & mando!

5 Great Pick
Posted by Unknown on 3rd Feb 2025
I admit I was skeptical when I first heard the buzz on these but, wow, they are actually very, very good. I have used Fender mediums and Dunlop .73 for many years and decided what the heck I’ll give in to the hype and get a Blue Chip. Very glad I did. They feel good in the hand glide over the strings with ease and articulate the sound of my guitars superbly. I am hooked now!

I'm partial to this thickness after trying the 60 for a while - feels more versatile for both strumming and picking. Keep pickin away friends

4 Nice pick
Posted by Doug on 8th Jan 2025
I’ve bought and used around 8 BlueChip picks over the years, and I eventually settled on the TP shape and the 45 gauge thickness. My last three buys have been TP 45 picks and I’ll likely continue to buy them. I wish these picks came with a more pointed tip that better represented the advertised photo as all of mine came noticeably flatter or more rounded off. My last order also took over three weeks to arrive, even though I’m only 3 or 4 states away.

1 Not Smooth
Posted by steve on 8th Jan 2025
I had great hopes for this Blue Chip pick. When I got it it was very scratchy. I had to work on it with some 4000 grit lapping film to get it almost as smooth as the Pro-Plec that I usually use. But the Pro-Plec costs a dollar, I could have gotten 35 of them for the same price. Perhaps I just got a clunker.

5 Really a bargain
Posted by Dan on 3rd Jan 2025
I play cello as well as guitar and mandolin. We cellists spend thousands of dollars for bows that feel and sound right. Re-hairing a bow costs about $100 and must be done frequently. So a $35 BlueChip pick, which plays better than other picks and lasts for years, is really a bargain.

5 Bonkers!
Posted by Mark Nevin on 27th Dec 2024
I heard about Blue Chip plectrums from listening to various Nashville guitarists mention them on YouTube videos. I was curious as to how they could be so highly regarded and warrant such a price tag. I ordered one and when it arrived at my home here in London, I was expecting to be underwhelmed, surely it was just a matter of the 'emperor's new clothes'. Er.... no. The claim of being 'the perfect connection to your instrument' is no empty promise, it really is. I don't know how a plectrum can be so perfect, it is bonkers! Top drawer.
