Product Overview

The SR is an extremely rounded triangle shaped pick in a 40/1000th of an inch(1.0mm) thickness. The bottom corner radius is greater than the top two corners.  Our picks are all precision machined and hand beveled for the highest quality.

Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

Best legal pick out there on the market!

I can't say enough good things about these picks, seriously! The tone, durability and options with styles, sizes and bevels make these picks a one stop shop for all your instrument needs. The picks are easy to hang on to and allow me to pull great tone and volume out of my guitar. The biggest win for me is that it doesn't wear down rough. I own 4 of these picks and each one glides right off the strings without any issues. Worth every penny!

    big disappointment

Posted by Dick Otten on 24th Jun 2014

I have one 45(much too stiff) and two 40 picks (ditto) I find them all too stiff and prefer a smaller pick with more flex for mandolin. They do "stick" to the hand well, and bring out a bit more volume with both guitar and mandolin. I'll probably give them to a friend who likes them. 100 bucks wasted as far as I can see.

    exchanged it

The SR40 was ok, but didn't bring out the warm tone I wanted from my mandolin. I exchanged it for the SR60, and love it. I'll be getting another one for my guitar.

This pick is awesome. Not only does it glide well off the strings but it greatly improves the string tone on leads and chopping.
