  1. My guitar reached new heights! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Dec 2021

I was worried the TD50 may be too heavy. Wow was I wrong. It makes the guitar blossom with sound and tone, or you can strum lightly and get that wonderful aesthetic from a grooving strum. And the control! I can play single lines much quicker. Smooth sound, wonderful control. Absolutely stellar pick.

By the way I'm a longtime owner of a Bluechip thumbpick I use on all my guitars as well. I've used it every day for years and it's like brand new! Anyway, the TD50 is a perfect match for it if you switch between fingerstyle and flatpicking as I do. Both are worth every penny.

One of the best Picks I ever bought, the second is the TD45 ;-))

  3. The best pick that money can buy so I bought the TD50 5 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Sep 2021

I bought the BlueChip TD 50. BlueChip picks are a favorite choice among pro Bluegrass pickers but you don't have to be a pro Bluegrass picker to buy one. Use the tools the pros use and you can't go wrong so I tried the TD 50 and fell in love. Yes it is pricey but it is a very good pick and it does help improve tone. Think not? Wait till you try one. I am confident you will think different. It is the only pick I use on my guitars. Even my number 1 Telecaster. Chicken pickers will love this pick too. I also own and use a BlueChip J D Crowe thumb pick on my banjo and Dobro. Take a look at all the picks BlueChip makes on the website. You will find your Go To pick there. I love my BlueChip picks and I am not looking back except to buy more BlueChip picks.

Use with all of my 6 string acoustics (Martin D35, 00018, 00010E and Gibson J50). Wonderful. I hear the guitar tone. Not the pick. Not so with any plastic picks, regardless of the thickness. Thank you!

  5. Convinced after 5 minutes of noodling… 5 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Aug 2021

Honestly, I do not possess the accurate technical vocabulary to describe the benefits of using the Blue Chip TD50 guitar pick.
I was tempted to try it, though… so I bought the TD50 and the TD35, both with a round bevel. I settled with the TD50 for its size, weight and feel.
After playing a Blue Chip pick for a month, using a standard pick is akin to driving a car on half-flat tires!

After using a Bluechip pick, everything thing else doesn’t even compare. It’s the pick that will put life back into your playing and make you want to play for hours on end.

  8. What I use the TD50 for 5 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Jul 2021

I use the TD50 pick when I play my Martin HD28. The thickness matches well with the medium strings and the teardrop shape increases my playing speed.

I really enjoy my td-50 pick. It makes playing the guitar more enjoyable.

  10. TD-50, one versital guitar pick! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 31st Mar 2021

I purchased the Blue Chip TD-50 for use with my Martin HD28; which I use playing Bluegrass. The TD-50 is a stiff pick, and it allows you to really dig into the strings. I also have a Fender electric and the TD-50 really performs with the Fender as well. The pick is amazing in that it does not fly out of your fingers like many other brands do. I high recommend this pick!
