I've never had any hesitation about spending a lot of money on guitars, it turns out to be the less noticeable things that make guitar sound good. Turns out that a good flatpickers is important is a good set of strings. When I first heard about blue-chip pics, I thought that spending that much money on it flatpick was insane. On a whim, I ordered a couple, andthe difference was immediate and impressive. I feel was better than any artificial material I've ever used it, flex is perfect, and they didn't slip out of my fingers. I'm not that good, but they make me sound as good as I possibly can. I came away with the feeling that I rarely get: I have gotten the most of my own playing and out of my instrument. I don't know if they can make a bad guitar sound good, but they could make a good one perform to its potential.

These picks are incredible, I have been playing them out for 3+years. The tone is amazing, they feel like they become part of your hand when things heat up, no slipping, and they have incredible endurance. The green nylons i used to use would last about two sets of flat picking for me. These puppies will make it through many shows without ANY wear! Love 'em!

This pick is excellent, I have used it for a couple of weeks. The quality and the sound I get is great. It seems to stick to my fingers while playin.

As picking mandolin ans some flatpicking on guitar, this is the tool for me! The TD40 one sharp pointed part and two more rounded, so here I can choose what suits best for the moment.
What I like is the tone I hear from my guitar or mandolin and it stays in my hand without slipping of from my hand. Highly recommended hight quality product!

The sound generated by the TD 40 is excellent. I would prefer a slightly more pronounced speed bevel.

I have never been all that adept at flat picking but your picks make me feel like Tony Rice. The tone of my old D-18 just rolls off the pick and out to fill the room. And the pick is so easy to grip that you can easily play softly when accompanying or lay into it for a lead line. I just love them and already have about a half dozen so I can always find one.

I have been playing the TD40 for about a week now. I have tried many other pick companies over the years in my search and have actually been very satisfied with the Pickboy 100's that I hade been using for about a year now, and it was the shape that had made me the most comfortable with that product. I only tried the Blue Chip pick because I randomly saw it on a You Tube video and when I researched it the reviews were phenomenal, and those reviews were right. When I got it in the mail I immediate tested it by strumming a simple E chord against the Pickboy and several Weden picks I have and the tonal difference just jumps out at you. The really interesting thing is that as you really start to play it there is a certain way it begins to "feel" in your hand that the words of this or any review will not be able to really describe the "experience" that the tone and feel add to your playing process. I really love it. I am going to order a TD35 to see if I prefer one gage over the other. Thanks a million!
Oh, by the way...........I do inside sales and customer service for a living while performing music on the side, and I ordered on a Thursday Evening and had an order confirmation and tracking number early Friday. Now that is Customer Service. Thank you, Matt!

I was the guy who said I'd never pay $35.00 for a pick, then my son gave me one for Christmas. These are without a doubt the best picks I've ever used. The tone, feel, and dynamics are unmatched in anything I've used before (and I've used them all). These picks are not just good for bluegrass, they bring out the best in your instrument regardless of the music style you play. I'm sold on Blue Chips and have already purchased a pick for mandolin playing too.

When I begain taking mandolin lessons 18 months ago one of the hardest things for me was finding the right pick. None I tried sounded good to me - let alone feeling right in my hand. I tried so many different ones even the tortoise shell pick my instructor uses and has had for decades. It sounded good but didn't feel right and of course you can't get them but, the bluechip pick TD - 40 was right - sounded great and feels really comfortable in the hand. Beside a great pick this place if full of great people as well. I have had nothing but great experiences in all my dealings with them.
