TD35 for electric and TD40 for acoustic. Great tone and they last forever.

I have a whole new instrument

Posted by Sean on 23rd Jul 2019

I am amazed by this pick, it opens up the sound so much. I think what I'm getting is all the upper harmonics that my other picks can't. Plus the clarity, volume and focus the pick provides, like an eq and compressor wrapped into a guitar pick. I have to cite one major drawback: I want to buy more!

tried Charmed Life and other picks (even another Blue Chip) , but this one with the combination of the right gauge and bevel makes my Martin sing like never before.

    THE EVERLASTING GOBSTOPPER OF PICKS

    Posted by DrLaRrY ~ Winston-Salem, N.C. on 24th Jun 2019

I got my first personalized TD-35 a while back and used it in my various daily pick rotation, then...it got knocked off my table into the trash and thrown out unbeknownst to me. Missing it, I ordered a new one and glad I did. I’d used my original one almost daily for 2 years and it didn’t show any signs of wear at all, even when scraping the wound strings it doesn’t leave divots !? They have a hard feel yet soft tone that’s easily controlled by your pick attack. They are pricey as far as picks go but to me it’s totally worth it , just get one !

A Cheap way to upgrade your tone/insturment

Posted by Elliot Ignasiak on 3rd May 2019

Relatively speaking these are expensive picks, but as a recording engineer/producer as well as a musician, let me tell you this is one of the cheapest ways to seriously upgrade your tone. Compare the price of a blue chip pick to the price of upgrading a microphone, a preamp, or a new instrument. Yes, sometimes those things are necessary too, but they all cost thousands of dollars. This pick for $35 has had a pleasantly profound impact on the quality of my acoustic guitar recordings.

    Favorite pick

I play mostly finger style but like flat picking and strumming with a pick as well. I was struggling with picks in terms of accuracy and keeping them positioned without slipping. I decided to try this despite the cost and I’m glad I did. It never slips and it glides across the strings nicely. It also sounds great for single notes and for strumming. It’s worth the try.

    TD 35

I like the 35 because it is not quite as heavy as the 40? But I use the 40 for louder playing. Both are good for picking.

    Awesome Pick!

Posted by Gabe Rivera on 24th Dec 2018

I’ve ordered a few blue chip picks and I’ve been using them exclusively. I play both acoustic and electric (i use a td35 for acoustic and both and to-40 and a tad-1r 40 for electric ) and it’s been an all around great experience. Plus i dig having my name on my picks.

These picks are awesome. They last a long time but most importantly they bring out the best in my guitar. Thank you.
