This is a durable and good-sounding pick! I've been using it consistently at shows for most of the year, and it has not shown any noticeable wear and tear.

I’m no musician. And I can tell the difference immediately I bought two and sent one to my friend who is a musician who's never heard of Blue Chip picks and can’t express how much he loves it. I'll continue buying them for my musician friends as gifts so they can hear the real sounds of their instruments. Thank you Blue Chip.

I was hesitant at first. How much of a difference could a pick make? I was pleasantly surprised! Warmer tone and more accuracy!

Been playing guitar over 30 years and am the proud owner of a custom 00 from Santa Cruz Guitar, decided it was time to get a pick that matched my instrument. The pick is very comfortable to hold and easy to keep hold of. Surprising as there are not bumps, holes, etc to enhance grip. The sound and tone are the standouts here. BlueChip gave more warmth and definition to the low end and midrange. At the same time there was more articulation in the trebles. Strumming or hybrid picking a variety of chords and voicings, the sound of the instrument really shine through. Yes, $35 or $40 is quite a sum for a pick, but the results are noticeable and the hype is real!

I first heard of BlueChip years ago and knew big names were using your products. The price threw me off for a long time and I was so sure I could find something comparable for a fraction of the price. I tried about 100 different picks over the years and what made it difficult was that I have dyshidrotic eczema which required me to literally have 4 completely different picks for each season and varying moisture levels throughout the year. My condition made it hard to not have a pick slip out of my fingers most of the time. One day I did the math and realized I had spent way more money than a single BlueChip so I figured it was time to try one. This is the only pick that has something about the texture to where I do not need to switch depending on the humidity in the environment I am playing in. I also used to lose about 2 picks a week and I have not lost my one BlueChip yet. I’ll probably order a few backups. Thanks for making such a great product!

It’s hard to find the words. I find that my pick handles easier, kinda buttery feel to it. I’d say it has a cleaner, fuller sound than the green tortex that I’m used to.

I have a Martin dred that has always just had a bit of a dull acoustic quality. Tried new bridge pins, new strings, bone saddle, under saddle plate mate, you name it. Switching to a blue chip pick made a bigger difference than all the other modifications. Even my non musical wife instantly noticed a difference in a blind shootout with other picks. Only downside is that I don’t want to use anything else now.

I’ve used lots of picks over the 50 years I’ve played guitars, and blue chip picks stand out. There is something about their feel and tone that is distinctive and highly enjoyable. More so on acoustic than electric, because these picks make a lot of click and if a particular electric guitar has a pickup close to string contact, I can hear the pick. But, minor issue. And some players might not care.

…that I was playing with the pick equivalent of wax in my ears until I got this. Blown away. I have a Martin HD-28 and I put Thomastik strings on it. I thought I’d reached the pinnacle of tone—until this pick came into my life.

I especially like the difference on acoustic guitar... nice and loud without as much pick noise. Pick glides off of the strings and makes certain swept and string skipping phrases more accurate for me. Looking forward to trying some of the other sizes/thicknesses.
