5 perfect for banjotar
Posted by jim ryser on 16th Oct 2025
I can’t play a real banjo and I don’t like the sound of an electric guitar pick on my banjotar. This pick came recommended by several bluegrass players, and it’s absolutely perfect - and sounds amazing on my Volbrecht acoustic guitars too when I want a fuller tone.

4 Really nice guitar pick!
Posted by Unknown on 14th Oct 2025
This is a really nice guitar pick! I love the attack on the strings, as it's smooth but not dark and muffled, and the grip when my hands get sweaty stays fairly well! I honestly don't understand why these are $35, and feel like half that would be much more reasonable for what you get, or make a more affordable line. That said, they are really nice picks with affordability being one of my only gripes.

5 Finally a sub for d/c'ed Tusq
Posted by Unknown on 10th Oct 2025
Can't speak to the famed indestructability of these picks, as I just bought them, but I can say they are the only ones (including current Tusq models) which match the sound and feel of my beloved, departed Tusq A1 blacks. Tried out several different acoustic guitars, confirmed, immediately bought several more TD35s. Very pleased.

5 No. 1

The TD35 is my go-to for nearly everything now. Theater, Bluegrass, Jazz Banjo, Acoustic, Mandolin, etc. They make me sound better than I actually am, and they are so sturdy you rarely need to replace them. I'm just waiting for the custom engraving to come back to order some more!

5 Worth the HYPE- Worth the PRICE!
Posted by Robert III on 4th Oct 2025
It just makes sense after you use one! I have been playing 20 years on plastic junk- what a shame! My next 20 (Godwillin’) I will only use BlueChip Picks!!!! FULL ENDORSEMENT! And a great family run company- always the best.

5 Legit

I’m a natural skeptic when it comes to products like this but there really is a great difference between this and a cheap pick. Much better control and brightness in the strings!

5 The Best Guitar Pick
Posted by Caleb on 18th Sep 2025
I am not the kind of person to spend money frivolously. But I have always found it is better to save up and buy the thing you really want instead of buying something cheap. A $35 guitar pick might seem crazy, but once you have played with one, there is no going back. As guitar players we have poured hundreds or thousands of hours of our lives into learning this instrument. $35 is a small price to pay for a pick that immediately sounds noticeably better than a regular pick, and lasts 20 times as long. You know how your pick gets worn on the edge after a few months and then it doesn't sound right? This one does not do that. Do your own research. There is a real reason that Blue Chip is the guitar pick of choice for Billy Strings and John Mayer.

5 Smooth As butter
Posted by Ryan on 9th Sep 2025
As silly as it seems, this seems night and day compared to a generic plastic pick. I used Dunlop for years and using my TD35 is like slicing through strings, so quick and effortless yet with full control. I didnt think it'd make a big difference but it does, and for $35 it's worth it.

5 Silky smooth and durable
Posted by Miles on 9th Sep 2025
I never expected a flat pick to make such an improvement in my sound and playing experience! The BlueChip TD 35 is a brilliant replacement for my previous vinyl pick choices. It feels rigid enough to be precise, and just flexible enough to keep the 'feel' of the string tension under my control.
