  1. Nice Pick! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Apr 2024

Really like this pick - it's my go to now. It's similar to my old Fender Mediums in size, but less flexible. The material it's made of sounds really good on a guitar string whether strumming or picking out a lead. The beveled edges enhance playability. Also have a larger TP 40 that I like a lot.

  2. Great picks 5 Star Review

I've been using BlueChip picks for quite a few years now and I absolutely love them. These are the best picks I've ever used. They last forever and glide nicely across the strings.

I like the texture, easy to grip
I like the feel-glides through the string easier than many other picks
I like the tone very musical and round

  5. Why Didn't I Find Bluechip Years Ago! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 21st Mar 2024

I was mildly sceptical about the rave reviews, but with so many, I decided to take the chance. I purchased the TD35 and it is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

Within a few strokes with this pick I could tell the difference. It really does stick to the fingers and it really does glide through the strings. How is this possible? I don't know. But it does. I played it along my two current faves, an .88 Dunlop Flow and an .88 Brain. Sorry, but there is no way to compare the play of the Bluechip against the other two. It's not just mildly better, it's WILDLY better!

There are precious few things you can buy that will immediately make you a better player, Bluechip is one of those things. I'm not talking about going from beginner to pro, but you're tone will sound better, and you won't have to work quite as hard.

Finally a product that lives up to its hype! I'm buying more for sure.

  6. Great Picks. 5 Star Review

The Blue Chip picks are just what I was looking for. The thickness is accurate and they really hold their shape for a long time. Make sure you get them to drill the he “Andy Wood” holes in them when you place your order, for optimal grip. Very happy that I found them!

  9. Exceeds Expectations 5 Star Review

Posted by on 23rd Jan 2024

I’ve been playing guitar for 22 years and have always struggle with finding a good pick. The materials of picks I’ve used in the past have always left me wanting more grip and a slightly smaller form factor. After much debating I decided to “pull the trigger” on a Blu Chip TD35. For comparison my previous go-to pick was a Dunlop Tortex .88mm. The TD-35 was the best upgrade from the Dunlops. The Blue Chip gives a far superior grip and is ever so slightly smaller than the Dunlop which fits better between my finger and thumb.

As for tone I believe the Blue Chip gives a clearer sound without being harsh and ice picky while reducing string noise while the pick slides over the strings.

The only thing I’d request is for the speed bevels to be softened on the opposite side of the bevel because it was a little sharp on attack, but that solved itself after dedicating some hours to playing with the blue chip exclusively.

Wonderful product and will absolutely be back for more!

  10. Excellent 5 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Jan 2024

Took me awhile to catch the feel of Bluechip picks. Now I’ve come to understand and appreciate their quality & uniqueness. I especially notice the TD in live jams with fiddle, banjo, mando, vocals and acoustic guitars. I had a TD40 and thought is sounded a bit “mushy”, so I ordered a TD35 and gave it a go last. The TD35 was perfect for me => crystal clear highs, plenty of bass, minimal mids… cut thru just right in the acoustic mix. I then tried the TD40 & found it just not clear enough to cut thru (however the TD40 works well with my style on my Collings MTA mandolin). So I now have a stable of TDs (35, 40, 45 & 50) and enjoy learning the nuisance each brings to my playing
