This is the TAD pick in 60/1000 of an inch(1.5mm) thickness. It is shaped identically to the TP, but is slightly larger. All BlueChip Picks are professionally machined, laser engraved, and hand beveled.
Quarters, Nickels and Dimes, if included in the pictures, are for size reference only. They are not etched on the picks or included with the sale. To use this reference, please place a coin on your current non-Bluechip pick and then compare to the pictures of our picks with coins on top of them. This will help you choose the pick that is closest to your current favorite size and shape.

I had a hard time wrapping my head around paying 35$ for a pick until i played the TAD 60! It has increased my tone and playability ten fold!

The pick sticks to your fingers and glides off the strings. I sound better. If you think it's expensive, think about how many hours you play in a year. It's worth it.

This pick will helped me pick faster, more accurately and it has perfect tone. It literally never slips or moves in your fingers. In 15 years of guitar playing, It's by far the best pick I have ever used.

I have several BlueChips and I use them exclusively. I like the size of the TAD the best, and it glides off the strings like no other. It also has a tone I prefer over any other pick. I play acoustic and harp guitars made of carbon fiber, and I love the sound the BC makes with my instruments. I have used only Blue Chips now for about a year, and along with some TP's, the TAD's are always in my hands. Great products!

This is my fourth Blue Chip pick. The first was the Chris Thile TAD 55 and I wanted something slightly stiffer and liked the idea of engraving in case I left it out. My teacher wanted the Thile pick and I bought my first TAD 60 which was perfect. I have since bought two more of the same and rotate them each month. I rotate sides each day and the picks show no sign of wear. Simply no fuss and so in my mind, extraordinary value. By the way, customer service and engraving has been terrific!

This pick feels great and sounds great, I was not expecting that but had to find out for myself. Being from Canada I got killed on exchange so getting another is out of the price range. I know your thinking "if it sounds so good why not get another "the tone, the tone!" I think of picks like I do any other gear. If I bought a $100 effect box I could expect $50 for it if I needed to sell it. I don't think I would get 20 for this pick.
That being said...
If you play guitar and tone is important to you, you owe it to yourself to own at least one of these picks. They are awesome.

When i first tried these picks at a friend i was litterally blown away from the sound it produces, and the feel of it! It makes your guitar sound even better. It's stunning how that little thing can have such an influence on the sound of your guitar! Forget all the common picks you've tried and heard, this is the real thing! It's priced but worth every penny!

I can't say enough about these picks. Fast, quiet and a sure grip. Especially the grip for dry hands like mine.

These picks are the next best thing to natural Tortoise shell. Which is endangered so I have given up using them. Better from the wear and maintenance standpoint too. After several years of using my first one there is yet to be any required care of the picking edge.

My experience with TAD60's has been that they seem to last longer before the edges start to wear. I play just about everyday, and will often wear a pick out in just one day.
The reason I came to Blue Chips in the first place was to find a longer lasting pick. These seem to last the longest and provide the best tone of any I've tried.
